The Traitor

Reagan’s Betrayal: The Iran-Contra Scandal

Ronald Reagan’s administration was caught red-handed in one of the biggest political scandals in U.S. history—the Iran-Contra Affair. While publicly vowing never to negotiate with terrorists, his administration secretly sold weapons to Iran, a sworn enemy, and funneled the profits to fund right-wing death squads in Nicaragua. This illegal operation not only defied Congress but also armed oppressive forces that terrorized civilians, proving Reagan’s commitment to power over principle.

The War on Drugs: A Smokescreen for Corruption

Reagan’s infamous War on Drugs painted itself as a crackdown on crime, but in reality, his administration helped fuel the very crisis it claimed to fight. The CIA-backed Contra rebels—Reagan’s allies—were linked to drug trafficking, flooding American cities with crack cocaine while Black and Brown communities bore the brunt of harsh prison sentences. As Reagan preached “Just Say No,” his policies ensured a steady flow of drugs into the country, deepening systemic oppression.

Propping Up Puppet Dictators

Under Reagan, the U.S. turned into a puppet master, pulling the strings of brutal dictators across Latin America, Africa, and beyond. From Manuel Noriega in Panama to Efraín Ríos Montt in Guatemala, Reagan bankrolled and defended authoritarian leaders responsible for mass killings, human rights abuses, and corruption—all in the name of fighting communism. His foreign policy left a trail of devastation, proving that his true allegiance was to power, not democracy.

This same man was and still is loved by many so called American “Patriots”.
